Tramonti Ristorante

My wife and I have been wanting to try Tramonti Ristorante for a while, and this past Saturday we finally made it in — and wow, it exceeded all expectations! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the drinks and appetizers were delicious, and both of our main courses were absolutely phenomenal. We finished the night with a dessert that was just as impressive. The staff and service were outstanding from start to finish. We never felt rushed, and everything arrived at the perfect time. It’s rare to find a restaurant that nails every detail, but Tramonti Ristorante truly did. We can’t wait to come back!

What a great restaurant! First off, be prepared that the portions are enormous. Easily two/three meals in one serving. Very reasonable prices for those portions. They serve the food in large frying pans which is interesting. Very friendly staff all around. They delivered free appetizers as well which was nice touch. I had Penne ala Vodka with grilled chicken which was very good. The Antipasti was excellent We got in thanks Tina cancelled reservation but it's very difficult to get in apparently. Keep trying!

My sister treated me to an amazing lunch today. All she said is "it's an experience". Seated right away without a reservation (although we arrived shortly after opening). Server was with us right away. Chilled water served while looking at the menu. Our drink order was taken quickly as well. After ordering our meals fresh warm bread brought to the table. I was pleasantly surprised free appetizers with compliments from chef. To say the portion size is large is a understatement. I noticed some people have complained about the wait time, but please take into consideration each meal is made to order. Food was excellent, service was pleasant and attentive. Don't let the face of the restaurant fool you. I had a wonderful experience today. P.s. when ordering MP from the menu that is the best time to ask what that price is... It will be the Market Price. Absolutely one of our favorite restaurants. Incredible service. The staff treats you like you are with family, bringing by little treats for the table while you wait. Portions are ample with excitement in knowing you get to have more of your delicious meal at home. They are very good about food allergies! Many options and ways to work with gluten allergies. I only wish they made gluten free lasagna. I cook but its nice to not have to cook to be served something like delicious lasagna or meatballs. Lol Go. You wont be sad you did.

The food was excellent, the price looked high until we recieved the portions, each of which could feed a family of 5. Then they brought out complimentary apps. Bread, crostinis on a bed of meat, and muscles in marinara sauce. Can attest italian combo, seafood rissoto, mushroom rissoto, suppa de muscles, lasagnia, and wild boar bucatelli are all fantastic.

We have ordered take out from Tramontis many times when they were in their old location. We had the pleasure of dining there last month, twice. We celebrated my son's birthday and New Year's Eve ! It is definitely an experience. Service is amazing!Food is superb! Atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

This was my third time at this restaurant and it just keeps getting better and better!!!! The food is delicious, generous - the photos speak for themselves.. I am a pesto snob and can testify that this is the real thing FRESH homemade pesto sauce. Not only is the food phenomenal but the atmosphere sets a great vibe. We’ve had a blast every single time. Already looking forward to the next time we go out. Will be enjoying at least 2 more meals from my leftovers. Come for the experience of Tramonti!!!!

Tramonti Ristorante is the sort of place that reminds a man why Italian food earned its reputation in the first place—generosity without apology, comfort without laziness, and flavor that speaks plainly rather than loudly. Visiting family in Connecticut, we opted for carryout and ordered four dishes. Each arrived with portions so ample they bordered on old-world hospitality. This was not food measured for presentation alone, but food meant to feed people. The kind of meal that fills the table, slows the evening, and ensures tomorrow is also well taken care of. The cooking itself was confident and honest. Rich without excess. Balanced. Clearly made by a kitchen that understands its recipes and sees no need to reinvent them for trend’s sake. Even as takeout, everything held its integrity—proof that the food stands on substance, not circumstance. There’s something deeply respectable about a restaurant that sends you home knowing you’ve been looked after. Enough food for several days, yes—but more importantly, enough quality to make you look forward to every reheated plate.
